Cyclops Electronics Welcomes Our New Account Manager, Lee

Lee Cohen
Lee first joined the Cyclops Group back in 2011 as a buyer for our excess stock division. He has since moved into the position of Account Manager for Cyclops within our skilled sales department. As an electronic component sourcing specialist, Lee deals with many different markets including commercial, industrial, military & aerospace.

A word from Lee... “During my time as a buyer for our excess stock division I worked with a range of manufacturers from Tier 1 global EMS' to local OEMs. This sparked my passion for the electronics industry, the components themselves and the people that I am lucky enough to work with.

Now, continuing my career with Cyclops as an Account Manager, I hope to use this experience to genuinely help my customers with their component needs.”

We Remain Close to our Customers with Continued Service Improvements and Quality Assurance

Here at Cyclops we pride ourselves on going the extra mile to provide the best possible service. We make our skills, knowledge and expertise readily available, ensuring we remain close to our customers. We continually improve our services by making them more widely available, so we can reinvest in infrastructure. This means we are small enough to remain personal, yet large enough to have the resources to meet the needs of every customer.

We are always trying to evolve and change to help meet our customer needs. In 1996 we put ISO9004 in place, as using a quality accredited supplier was starting to become a requirement for some of our customers. 

As members of the ERAI, we are trying to put something back into the industry, we listen to our customer feedback and respond to it. For many of our customers, the increase of counterfeit parts was becoming a major worry, so three years ago we decided to devote resources to sharing all we knew about it. We shared our knowledge on avoiding counterfeit parts and what equipment and processes are available to help.

So far we are compliant to ISO9001:2008. We are to introduce AS9100:2009 for manufacturing, AS9120:2010 for distribution and vendor reduction services and ISO9001:2008 for our excess stock purchasing division. The plans are to add ISO4001 to reflect our care of the environment and ISO18001 to show the commitment we have to health and safety management.

We take our responsibilities within the sector seriously: to be all that we can be, to meet the needs of our current and future customers, to help make you more successful and to keep improving!
